i haven't seen you around in a while. I went to several liquor stores today and found a few more of your wants. As of now, I have around 300 oz for you. 75% of whats out there so far is on your wants list and has a weighted average BA score of 95.3%

i picked your swag up today and will be boxing tomorrow and putting it out around lunch time monday. fortunately, you live less than 300 miles from me, so it should be there on wednesday

 

I haven't been around for a while. Trying to catch up with work after vacation. And spending time putting together a box+. I don't have many of your wants, but the ones I do will be headed your way.

I'm shipping to a target who hasn't been around here much either.

My state is more than 9x bigger than my targets.

 

target: I stopped by to pick up your swag and got talked into a pint.

hint: you have a delicious deschutes beer in your wants. you're not getting it, but there are at least 3 deschutes beers in the box(es). I still may pick something up before shipping on Monday.

 

To my target, even though the brewery no longer distributes here, I just found a shelf turd of one of your wants in the state I am visiting

 

A new BA beer from my cheesehead neighbors to the north is going in the box. It's not stout. I'm drinking it right now. Mmmmmmm....

 

If it all fits in the boxes, my target is looking at:
4 x 25.4 oz
7 x 22 oz
3 x 16 oz
10 x 12 oz
1 x 11.5 oz
Of the ones that are rated on BA, at least 12 are 90 or above.
5 or more have spent some time in barrels, 2 others have had a brush with coffee, and a couple of others have come in contact with chocolate or vanilla. Also one with just about all of the above plus hot peppers.

 

I wish I was the target of one of the BAs that have posted here, but I believe I am not

 

To my target - I am shipping your stuff on Monday. I may include a bottle of my homebrew if you think you might like it. It still needs some time to bottle condition so don't open it for a few months. Let it set out at room temp so the yeast can do their thing. Let me know how you feel about bourbon barrel aged vanilla stout.

I wonder if room temp where you are is warm enough?

 

Was mistaken in my last post. I was at 200 oz earlier. now over 320 and weighted BA score of between 93-94

 

Dear Target,
Today i picked you up a beer from a local brewery that was limited to 1200 bottles. I wanted to also grab you a Mango Magnifico, but alas Founders likes to fuck with my state by sending very limited quantities of the good shit, and couldn't find it. I guess they also ship whatever the fuck they want!

 

I never expected to feel like I was dramatically underperforming in a BIF by sending double the minimum, but I am pretty sure a second box will be going out with another 100oz or so in the near future... hopefully within the shipping window. I need to make up for some lackluster swag and a dearth of wants. Target, you have all of these fucking overachievers to thank for when you have to spend a weekend rebuilding your porch... it may just come to that.

Just finished packing, 58# heading out tomorrow, ETA Wednesday.
Bad news, good news for my target.
Bad news---The 3 16 ozers I had didn't fit in either of the boxes I was packing.
Good news---That means I'm sending 3 boxes and it gives me room to fit something else in along with an additional piece of swag related to the original one.
Off to the basement to see what I can scrounge up.
