It better not end.... That was one of the membership privileges. I don't get a discount if I don't use the card on purchases.

 

Club members already received the benefits from the release already. Spread the love rather than have club members with a disproportinate # of the bottles.

 

Right - I get that. Like I said, I don't care because ultimately, anyone has access to the bottles if they get there early enough, but I never got the impression that it was a forever thing. I mean, that same page says there will be a bi-monthly bottle release, and I feel like they're a lot more sporadic with the releases than scheduled.

At the same time, any believer's club member could leave $1 on their card and get guaranteed bottles for life. I don't think that would last forever, although if Jean & Co decided to do it that way, I can't argue with giving preference to the people who were first in line to support them.

 

When I went to the Only Void release (which was a 12:00 PM start time just like this one), I got there at 12:15 and sat at the end of the line. I got burned on 2 of the 3 variants, but then again, there are more bottles to go around this time. I'd say showing up 1-2 hours before noon will guarantee you an allotment.

Also, if this release is anything like the last one, I remember talk of a pretty substantial bottle-share between the dozen-or-so diehards that were waiting in line at like, 9:00 AM.

 

bottle sharing is not legal on the public sidewalks. just an fyi. the "diehards" are breaking the law and being dicks.

 

agreed, any of you asshats doing this better stop.....you could really fuck over the brewery.

 

What time does the line cutting start for this one? I imagine some of the same toolbags who showed up fashionably late before and butted into line will do the same again.

If TH could really get in trouble for people drinking, you can bet your ass that they would patrol that a bit more. People from the brewery OPENLY saw people drinking at the Only Void release and did not stop it. People who do so are clearly in violation of likely open container policy, not sure if the brewery has any responsibility for that to be honest.
