Canned beers are my favorites. I'd be more likely to buy the 16 oz. Sam Cans than their bottles.

I can dig it. I might actually be more inclined to buy Boston Lager in the future.

I'd love to see Noble Pils in 16 oz. cans.

Actually, I cannot think of any decent pilsner that comes in pounders.

The Crisp does. Perhaps you don't like it, or didn't think of it, but I really enjoy it.

Totally forgot that they were 16 oz. (And, I haven't yet had it...it's on my to-do list).

Not for the 16 oz. cans in particular, but there is a shit-storm on their facebook every time they mention cans.

    :astonished:

Glenn Lord is clearly a "super rookie" beer "guy"

I used to think if it comes in bottles, especially ones that need a bottle opener, meant it was good :stuck_out_tongue:

That is a fantastic, refreshing, and easy to drink beer.

He might be, but I feel like a lot of the griping there is because they're more worried about their image when seen drinking Sam Adams than anything else. Now that it's even available in a can, they'll have to drink something classier so you don't mistake them for Busch-drinking Nascar fans. Maybe they'll switch to Shock Top. That's Belgian, you know.

I feel like the vast majority of beers coming in 16 oz cans don't belong in 16 oz cans.

Wow, a lot of can haters on their fb page. "Drinking beer from a can is dangerous." Lol

Definitely would have appreciated this much more than the bottles that were available in the Caribbean when we were stuck living there. Cans for the win.

Cans are the wave of the future for Craft, adapt or die (or at least be thirsty....)

If Heady Topper becomes big enough, in New England at least, I would imagine the hate for cans will be greatly reduced.

I feel like there are two scenarios here.

    1) No. Haters gonna hate, and will ignore Heady. Or,
    2) No. Haters gonna find a really, really stupid reason to accept Heady while still dismissing all other canned beers.

I really hope I'm wrong, but in my head, those are the ways that Heady spreading to New England (or anywhere, really) would affect the irrational hatred of cans.

I am al for it!!!! The Boston Ale would be way cool in tall boys. Do I have to read how many millions of dollars/hours it took to develop the 16 ounce can though thats my biggest worry.....
