How many did they get, you think its still there at 5pm?

Specs Downtown doesn't even have it yet, HDC sucks at distribution.

 

there was about 4 cases left at the Clear Lake location as of about 15 minutes ago.

 

hopefully specs downtown gets it tomorrow or friday.

 

This usually sits on shelves for a week right? I really don't want to chase this

 

Still no sightings in Austin, that I'm aware of.....

 

I have to disagree with you. I enjoy the fact that Shell Station had it first.

This has been great for the Clear Lake guys but sucks for everyone else.

I figured Specs CL would only have a couple cases and with a 2 per limit it would go quick, glad to see they had more than I figured. They also had some Zoe, Temptress, Avery Twenty, and about a case of Gingerbread stout on the shelves. I picked up a case of the Zoe (I usually hoard this stuff when I see it in Houston), Twenty, and Temptress 4 pack but left the Gingerbread stout where it was. It's just not worth $14/bottle IMO.

 

So no more at specs?

 

Earlier in the day during lunch I went up to Specs Clear Lake and they had about a case left I think but I passed. I started to hate my decision about 3 so I went back up after work. I left at 5:15 and they had about 4 to 5 bottles left.

Picked up 1 Black Butte XXV and an Avery Twenty. They had tons of Zoe and Gingerbread stout as well..

 

Did anyone get with you on this? I only got 2 myself but I'll reserve 1 for you if you want it. I'm sure you will score a case for yourself soon but if not hit me up on a BM.

 

Isnt it nice to have a Specs down this way that is number 1 on the distro list after downtown gets their cut (for the beers that is distro'd that way)?

John is a super nice guy and always says hi to me by name when I am in. He tells me everything he is getting and what he has new. He has really helped turn the beer department around at that store.

 

Sounds like I need to meet John and get the insides like you do. I was wondering how you knew they were getting Avery Twenty later today.
