Shaun might be able to chime in better than me, but on saturday he might have said (forgive if I'm misquoting) that the lion's share of Vera Mae will be released in the retail store for the week after the event, but a little bit will be available for attendees.

I wonder if it may be the same plan for Flora? I see it on the list of FoFA beers and bottles should be close to being ready. Unfortunately could not get tickets to the fest, but will be in the area camping on the 14th. Bottles of Vera Mae and Flora would be an excellent consolation prize.

I think that is Shaun's thinking as well, that way more people get some instead of having the fest people wipe it all out.

Unfortunately, the new labels for Flora will not arrive in time for a Festival Release. I hand labeled 60 bottles of Flora with the old labels (of which there were only approximately 100 labels remaining) in order for the Collected Works folks to retrieve their bottles that day. Vera Mae will be on sale at the Festival at a 1 bottle per person limit. Will also have Arctic Saison both on draft and available in bottles. Vera Mae will go onto the shelf on August 14th with a 2 bottle limit at 12$ per bottle. Hoping to make it available to as many people as possible. Sankt Hans and Flora may be released the following week, August 21. Difficult to say - and much depends upon the label printer's schedule. Satsuma Flora likely to be a late August release, as well. August 29th? Perhaps at the same time as Damon (Port/Bourbon). I apologize that we won't have more bottled beer available for the Festival attendees - but hopefully it will allow the attendees to relax and enjoy the music and the draft offerings...

Now why would they enjoy that?

I suggest a Bring Your Own Label - Flora release on August 14th.

Looks like we'll be doing another one-day cannonball run up to HF from Brooklyn at the end of August.

I hate to sound like a dick rider, but...It's really awesome that you reply on here and give details about bottle releases far in advance. As someone who drives a good distance to make it to a bunch of releases each year, it's much appreciated.

The only one that is relatively firm is Vera Mae. All of the others could be pushed off by a month... bottle conditioning wild/mixed fermented beers is an extremely unpredictable practice. The carbonation happens over night - but the refermentation byproducts are a mystery unto themselves. Now, if we could just force carbonate everything and release it immediately thereafter... (and maybe filter and pasteurize is too...)

ISO: 2013 release of Flora w/ old label. Only interested in current batch w/ old label FT: Whatever it takes

This was supposed to be a joke, but as I was typing it I realized it probably isn't very far off.

Hey Shaun, any update on Flora and/or Damon? Trying to do a cannonball one-day roadtrip up from Brooklyn with some fellow BAers and hoping to be able to hit one of these releases.

That Facebook post just broke Vermont and will inadvertantly break Vermont's highway/transit system.

At least we'll be surrounded by absolutely beautiful Vermont fall foliage while we wait. I hope they implement some sort of ticketing/number system so we can grab a ticket and relax until our number is called instead of standing in a line for 4 hours.

Bottles will be stacked on top of a hill, all around the base of the hill crude rusty weapons will be laid out, at opening time a deep horn (like the Horn at Helm's Deep) will be blown, everyone will clamor for the top. Blood will be spilled, whalez will be won, all with the beautiful and picturesque fall setting of Northern Vermont as the backdrop.

....Or your way, either way.

No thank you. I recently opened a year old bottle of Vera Mae. Mind blowingly good, just watch out for that gushing.

Can't wait for this release. Here's hoping for a ticketing system or something, cause this is going to be one long ass line. So excited for these bottles, every single one of them promises to be worth the trip alone!

Saturday release? Please? It's going to be crazy no matter the day, now I'm hoping to not have to use vacation/sick time!!

Also, as has been said, if the sun shines for this late-September release you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer setting for some good old fashioned line-standing.
