Sour, Saison, & Funk BIF Round 2: Hints & Hauls

    It's time for the start of round 2. Your targets are being messaged to you as we speak. Here's a recap of the rules:

    - At least 6 beers, with a minimum of 150oz.
    - All beers must either:
    (1) be a want; or
    (2) have an rAvg of at least 4.0 on Beer Advocate at the time of shipping
    - All beers must be saisons or anything that is funky and/or sour. This includes all the sour styles on BA as well as any other beers that are listed under a different style, but were intentionally soured or inoculated with Brett.
    - If you can't hit wants, please try to find fun and exciting bottles / growlers that your target otherwise wouldn't likely be able to try.

    The shipping deadline will be Monday May 21. This gives people a bit over 4 weeks to get their boxes together.

    Schwag is not required, but is encouraged. Some targets provided me with schwag info. If so, I will include that when I send your target. If you don't receive that info and are curious, I can get it in a discrete manner.

    Just wanted to remind folks to update their wants as well, my target hasn't touched his wants since 2011 so I'd like to make sure I can go for stuff that they are still excited / interested in.

    My target has some tough wants but I should be able
    to hit a few of them. Hint #1: my targets state is home to one of my favorite breweries.

    Just updated my wants.

    Got almost all of my beers lined up...unfortunately, as it stands only 1 of them is on my targets 'wants' (which is quite the difficult list). Still, I'm doing some traveling before the ship date, so hopefully I'll be able to find another of their 'wants' while I'm on the road.

    My target has some really tough wants, but I should be able to hit a couple of them :slight_smile:

    I'm going to update my gots in the next few days, so whoever has me, please be patient

    After researching my target's wants list, I should be able to hit 5 wants, with 2 more should be wants and 1 wildcard beer that will be decided if / when they update their list.

    Been looking forward to this BIF for quite a while (since I started seeing hauls from Round 1).

    Will be going to a state east of the Mississippi River.

    My target is east of me, and seems to like the same beers I do.

    My target is younger than me. I should also be able to hit at least 3, maybe 4 Wants.

    Took a first look at my target's wants and hoping to put together a solid box with several wants from New York and Belgium breweries.

    Apparently I'm awful at giving hints...last round my target guessed it on the first one :slight_smile: I'm going to really think about my hints before posting this time LOL

    Just gotta grab one more beer for my targets box and 229.4oz rating an avg of 4.14 and hitting 3 Wants will be hitting the road!

    Hitting at least 6 wants and a few other should be wants have to pick up one more beer . A mix of 375 ml and 750 ml bottles heading east to a non-RS member by the end of the week.

    I'll be hitting at least 4 wants, hoping to hit 7. The only brewer that has BM'd me to thank me for a review is from my target's state.
