There are 4 more cases though...so curious if they will eventually show up on store shelves or someplace else. I thought there was only 4 before, just found out there was 8.

Thanks for the tip. Read this around 3 pm, dropped by Argonaut on the walk home from work, enjoyed a Stateside Saison and an Existent this evening. That they can do this at $8.99 a 4 pk should be an inspiration for some Colorado brewers, whose beer retails for $11.99 a 750...

Realistically how much better off are we going to be with a new Shelton distributor? Are we going to see more Cantillon? How about Upright? Will Crooked Stave be able to afford to warehouse a bunch of stuff that sees very little movement at most stores in the State? How long will Shelton be out of the state for? Is the keg of Zwanze that is supposed to show up going to make it, and what about the influx of Cantillon bottles that we saw last year around Zwanze day. I am just curious, Shelton beers are not cheap, if the common complaint was that we were missing out due to the pre-order system Elite was using I fear we are going to be in the same position.

I happen to know quite a few people who work for Elite and this is what I was told, obviously conjecture but take it with a grain of salt.

Shelton is in fact no longer with Elite
Shelton is finalizing a deal with Crooked Stave at the moment
Elite and Shelton are trying to work out a deal that would give Elite money and Shelton the ability to be in the states with no real lapse.
Anything that was preordered with Elite is no longer going to come in (which sucks horribly)
Shelton went with Crooked Stave because they want to be the focus of their distributors book.
Half the stuff you preorder from Shelton never shows up anyways and they were a massive pain for Elite to deal with. Only reason they kept doing business was some of the amazing products.

    Hope this answers any questions.

That is a bummer, I had some Misto H&V on preorder this time around.

    Hopefully it is available soon.

How the hell is Chad getting his Zwanze if they aren't delivering anymore. Did that already come in?

I think it was already delivered by a stork that was raised and trained at the Abbey de Cureghem.
