This beer is fantastic, it's the first Black IPA I've had so I have no other comparisons in the style. But I love the citrus hop flavor up front and the more heavy and dark malt build on the back end.

I've got a barrel of it coming Monday. Picked up a 6'er & it's enjoyable. Good but not great in my opinion

Better than Wookey Jack. Maybe the best Black IPA I've had.

Absolutely excellent Black IPA. In before all the Founders hate comes in on the thread!

It's such garbage... They could've used that malt to use in CBS or Black Biscuit but instead they waste it on this?!

Hahah was wondering when the "blah blah blah CBS" never ending comments to roll in. Damn good beer. Happy to see Founders as the brewery of Art Prize. Maybe now they will make some glassware associated with Art Prize instead of the dumb Stella glassware.

I'm just trying to get a hold of 1 or 2 measley bottles of this beer, anyone who would be willing to help me out send me a private message, really want to try this especially after hearing good things about it!

And I would love some as well, after this guy of course. If anyone has easy access to it, send me a note. Not sure what I'd trade for it, but would love to take some to an upcoming bottle share I'm attending!

Picked up 2 sixers at the Ypsilanti meijer on carpenter. They only had 2 left...

Already hard to find in Grand Rapids, looks like everyone picked it up at the outrageously low price of $7.99 at Meijer. The end caps were full last week and have been replaced with pumpkin and Octoberfest beer. For some reason, I thought there would be several shipments but that does not appear to be the case (pun intended). Anyway, my buddy just bought the last case at the Meijer in Midland so I'll have more next weekend. Also, gotta love All Day IPA 12pk cans for $14.99 at Meijer.

Since we are talking Founders and Meijers, I have this to report from the 16th Street store in Holland, Mi. All Founders 6 packs were $16.99. Yes I said sixes. Other brands like Bells, New Holland, SN, New Belgium, etc., were priced as usual. I went home without Founders tonight.

No way.. weird, weird store.. in every shape possible. Great beer selection a year ago then goes to shit.. late getting everything in now this.. I never frequent this store for groceries only in hopes of finding something I can't get at a normal store..
Also kings cove is my go to..

This is where I got mine as well. I didn't like the location either. If a worker wasn't stocking the beer isle at the time I was there, I would never had found it. I asked him and he brought me to where it was.

I was at Siciliano's Market on Friday and they had a bunch of it. I would try Meijers first as it is more expensive at Siciliano's.

I'm in NW Indiana about 30 min from the MI-IN border...does anyone know the closest place in SW MI that would have it? The Meijer in Stevensville?

I think all Meijer stores got some but the amount varied. Also, it won't be at the sale price now. I think I paid $10.29 for mine and it was the last sixer. I'd call ahead to the Stevensville store before going.
