Just had my first ever SN Torpedo. What a brew. Looks like liquid amber, smells amazing, tastes like grapefruit through and through, and isn't astringently bitter. 4balance, you don't champion this one lightly, brother, and I'm grateful for the introduction.

My girlfriend took me on a little 2 day craft beer outing to Boston. We've been hitting all kinds of bottle shops and beer bars. Being from Canada, its really awesome to have access to all these brews. Started out the day with Ommegang Pale Ale, Founder's Dirty Bastard, Troegs Javahead Stout, 21st Amendment IPA, then dinner with some Bengali Tiger, Port Mongo, and some Palate Wrecker. Even picked up some Sucaba. Cheers!

 

perhaps I'm overdoing it? but those who know me will assure you that i have only two modes - FULL ON and full off. 11:40p on a monday, few in and the next move...KBS!!! not sure what ales me, but i definitely recall the label of some vintage telling me that this beer was good for whatever ales me. when you need a stout, and you've got a few of these, what other choice is there, but the classic???? man oh man, i miss the days when getting a case of this was no big deal. acquiring only a handful of these this year was tough and i need to carefully choose when to pop them, and tonight...well, tonight spoke to me. perhaps i had a case of the mondays (cause lord knows i didn't have a case of KBS).

Going with something new tonight...just started working on Weyerbacher's Tiny courtesy of Deutchesbier via a recent trade (thank you sir). A solid Belgian stout...a little hot but definitely enjoyable. Cheers fellas...

My favorite IPA of all time. Usually hate the look p, but tonit looked good. Better question is why I didn't clean the store out where I saw these.
