I'm assuming because their distribution is basically just Ohio, although they recently started distributing to Indiana.
PA might also get it since Fat Head's has roots tracing to PA and they have a brewpub in Pittsburgh..

This! I haven't been on beer advocate a super long time, but definitely long enough to see that any "your favorite IPA" thread in most cases seems to bias towards local to the person voting. I am sure freshness and familiarity play a role in that...

I've only had two of the ones listed, Jai Alai and Union Jack. Both are fantastic. I did a blind taste test on them and chose Union Jack. I would gladly take either though.

Flower Power, but it has to be fresh.

None of those are available in my area. I've only had two of them - Union Jack and Flower Power. Loved both, but they're really different. I voted for Flower Power, which is a sentimental favorite.

Never had Head Hunter or Wet, but I would choose Nugget Nectar from the rest of the list.

Those are some great options. Both Jail Alai and Flower Power are my top "Every Day IPA" beers; sadly, neither distro in my area. I've only had Union Jack twice (on tap), but it was very, very tasty.

Of the options, my favorite is Jai Alai, but great choices, all around.

Wet is way over priced, good not great. HH is great fresh as is Flower Power, close is good they're very close. Should have added Furious as a choice as well.

Had them all but Head Hunter would be my first choice, Wet & Union Jack would be my last choice, the middle would be a total toss up for me.

Head Hunter is getting high praise in this thread. Which is good, because I'll be trying my first tomorrow. Cheers!

Jai Alai. I'd've said Headhunter, but I can easily get that the next time I'm in Ohio (I hope to stop by their brewpub when I'm near Cleveland next).

Can't vote as I've only had Union Jack. But judging from reviews of the ones I haven't had, it would most likely be Flower Power or Jai Alai. I like Union Jack but I find it a little too sweet on the finish.

Of the ones I've had so far:

    1a: Jai Alai
    1b: Flower Power
    2: Nugget Nectar
    distant 3: Head Hunter

Had Head Hunter on tap at the Great Taste of the Midwest and it tasted meh. I will have to get a fresh bottle sometime to really judge for sure.

I've had 4 outta 6 with Jai Alai being the most recent one I've had (yesterday, canned on 8/12) and I'd rate as follows.

    1. Head Hunter (by far)
    2. Union Jack
    3. Nugget Nectar
    4.
    5.
    6. Jai Alai

Head hunter tops the list for being a citrus bomb (which I love!) Jai Alai is at the bottom because its so average and it is only about 2 weeks old. Idk what I'm missing here, but I thought it was supposed to be this big ass citrusy/tropical fruity flavored ipa and it was pretty dull and boring to me.

Wet would probably be right there with Jai Alai for me. Abrasive and Furious are pretty average to me also.

Having had all of these I gotta go with Wet. It is for sure the best fresh hop beer I have had.
