So since the GABF is a month out, I was wondering if anyone was planning on a bottle share after the Saturday Members only session? Are we all going to be too drunk or are we going to be disappointed by the lack of some of the best breweries not in attendance or the best beer not there. I know every one will be a little buzzed but i was thinking that if it did happen, those who want to do it should bring 1or 2 22oz or 750s, or 4 12oz (or a combo of the 2) of their favorite or best regional brew. Whalez can be brought, no one will complain if you bring a single 12oz Whale. No glassware needed as we will all have the ones from the festival.

Thoughts? I'm thinking maybe 6ish since that will allow all of us all time to eat afterwards before we drink again

I think it would be just as good of a time to meet other BAs as the festival. If you do like the idea or if you are a Denver local and want to possibly head this up post here yea or nea and what you want to bring.

I've learned to 'never' commit to anything after a GABF session.

Too many great events going on that week to even think of a bottle share.

Well for most of us we're only there for 2-3 days and cannot partake in the other great weekly events. Im going Friday and Saturday, past years I've gone i dont drink nearly as much on Saturday compared to Friday. Again, just an idea. If it gets scrapped then so be it.

I dont care about location but if it's a place that we can get food or bring in food, that'd be great

I'm down. I have farm to table on Thursday and Friday but no real plans on Saturday, maybe hit up some breweries - my buddy (not on BA) will be bringing some bottles as well. Keep me posted as I plan on bringing DDG +++ (+his awesome beers)

Again, it doesn't have to be a ton of people...it can be 3-10. I just got some Sour Guava Grove so ill be bringing that instead. Anyone interested within two weeks, ill start a convo, we just need a place that will allow us to bring the bottles in

I'm good friends with the local WOB owner here, so ill see if he can reach out to the Denver owner, ill have people with me as we'll but they won't be drinking our stock so ill see if we can reserve an area (and maybe include the owner and/or manager cause i don't want to pay corking fees)

Good idea but finding a locale is going to be tough. I'd plan on just taking over a hotel lobby or using one of their "rooms".

I may be interested in this +1 person. It all depends on the day and time.

I'm in Denver and always down for a bottle share. Might be a bit drunk and hungover by Sat night...but HEY, it's GABF week...I'm supposed to be right?!

Do you by chance want to scout out some locations nearby the Convention Center that we would possibly be able to do this at? Preferably a place with food that allows a BYOB. Even a place that may charge a bottle fee of up to $4 per 750ml I'm ok with

I'll look around...I have yet to find a place that lets me bring my own, cork fee or not, but I haven't searched too hard.

Problem is that a lot of the places will have events going on around GABF. Probably better off if someone who is staying at a hotel can call and reserve a conference/event room if they have one.

^^ That's what I was thinking...we can just grab food anyplace if we want some. Warwick maybe?

I just spoke to the manager at Randolph's Restaurant & Bar at the Warwick and he said as long as we eat dinner, we can have their private room and only charge a $2/per bottle corkage fee. Otherwise they charge $200 for the room where you can order appetizers. I'm getting really amped!

Anyone else doing the Avery Barrel-Aged Bike Ride on Friday (11am-5pm) ???
