Started with a Bigfoot.. well, 2 actually.

Then moved to a Deviant Dales, and now finished up with a tasty Rouge RIS.

well, here it is again...Tuesday!!! my favorite night to open a big beer. in keeping with the past 3 Tuesday's tonight's selection will come from last year's eclipses. tonight, we delve into FiftyFifty's Imperial Eclipse Stout - Buffalo Trace Barrel Blend. not my favorite of the series, but still a hell of a beer. these have been so enjoyable, that despite my plans, i ended up putting in an order for futures yesterday when the bottles were re-released...can't wait to try them!!! cheers fellow BA'ers!

So, tomorrow afternoon I finish my second year of law school, and tomorrow night, I hope to make an appearance in this thread describing what I've actually been able to drink.

    I need your help!

Suggestions for beers and order of consumption? Here's most of my current reserves. All are the latest release, unless otherwise noted. In parentheses, I put how many times I've had the beer:

    - Old Ale: HoTD Adam (0) -- by the way, my name is Adam
    - Stouts: Alesmith Speedway Stout (0); Oak Aged Yeti (0); KBS (1); Terrapin Wake n Bake (2); Stone IRS (1, but not this year's)
    - Baltic Porters: Black Boss Porter (0); Smuttynose Baltic Porter
    - Barleywines: - Old Ruffian (0); Bigfoot (0);
    - BSDA: Delirium Noel (0)
    - American Wild Ales: Russian River Consecration (0); Temptation (0)
    - Tripel: Unibroue La Fin du Monde (0)
    - Wheatwine: Terrapin Gamma Ray (not sure the year, 2008 or 2009?) (0)
    - Porters: BBA People's Porter (0); Fuller's London Porter (0)
    - Oatmeal Stouts: Barney Flats (0); Rogue Shakespeare (0)
    - Saison: La Merle
    - DIPA: Victory Hop Wallop

    Keep in mind I'm a relative lightweight.....thanks!

It's fresh. It's only been out maybe 2-3 weeks now I think. It's a pretty good seller around these parts, but being local, it's a favorite. It's a seriously drinkable DIPA, good malt backbone, but plenty of hops and smoooooth.

    Just wish it was cheaper.

Old Raspy is good.. I have a half a 4 pack at my inlaws that I think I left one night.. I know it's still there.

However.. Yeti is pretty good to fill the void when my KBS is gone, but it's not better, IMO.

The Espresso Yeti, however, is the bomb.

Not sure how many more chilly nights we will have, so I decided to crack open a Peruvian Morning. I really love this beer. Sipping on it while listening to the Phils struggle to score yet again.

Espresso Yeti was a touch too biter IMO, but right now I'm drinking choco yeti with my father and it's primo! Great stuff.

Having my first Deviant Dale's. Wishing I wouldn't have read reviews beforehand, now I can't decide if I actually taste onion or if I just think I do. Either way I do not like onions, but the beer is decent.

Reimagine those flavors as being the various flavoring ingredients in gin (or something like that). First time I had Deviant, I had onions on the brain. Second time, it smelled / tasted like botanicals. And it was awesome.

SAME!!!! I'm sipping it, and I like Dales Pale Ale, and just tried a Deviant Dales for the first time and was reading that.. Not sure if I pick that up maybe in the after taste. I hate raw onion. Beer ain't bad, though.
