    Got this while back in my old stomping grounds of Iowa this past weekend. Good thing my best friend runs a Wine & Spirits shop down there. I was very happy with this brew. Funky, and it kept pulling my back in for more just as I would set it down.

    What did you think? That was one of those beers that was just plain weird, in fact, so weird, I couldn't hate it. It grew on me once I was halfway through the bottle.

    Against my instinct I purchased a six of Abita Pecan Harvest Ale.

    Is rather have a Saranac Caramel Porter. That's how bad Abita Pecan is.

    I initially grabbed Goose Island 25th. Wish I hadn't made that last minute switch.

    Shit week at the beer store my friends. Pumpkin beers abound and nothing to sate the early autumn head
