Karbach Cherries of Fire

Any idea what the Bond beer will be?

I'm in the same boat.

 

I opened 003 about 2 weeks ago and it was delicious. It was the best beer I've had from Karbach by far. The aroma was spot on with BCBS. The chocolate, vanilla and bourbon were so well balanced. I had 005 right after and it wasn't close at all.

 

I have 3 003's and 2 006's

Will open when weather cools a bit

 

If you're on the fence about 003 trade it to me

 

Ya so seriously im missing a 002 and 003 for my vert if anyone has those available. Will compensate fairly for 003.

 

I spoke to Eric during the Galveston Brewhaha festival, and he mentioned that the 007 was going to be Fra-gi-le again...

I was a bit let down when he mentioned that. Even probed him about at least going with a bond name and nah ain't happening.

Eric's got a brilliant idea there, frankly. The only way it could have been done better is a re-release of Roll in the Hay.

Consider it: everyone will buy up the 007 right away because of the novelty factor of the name. Don't bother putting a good beer in there, instead, put in something that otherwise would sell poorly. Then put the good beer in 008 so that you get to sell out of both!

It was ok. I too enjoyed 003 way more than this. Expected more cherry flavor.
This and BB4 let me down.

I just expected more bite from it. It is good, but I enjoyed the Weisenbock itself more.
Maybe it will get better with some time. I still have 3 left.
