Jester King Brewery - 3rd Annual Funk & Sour Fest

I'm in...gonna have to PR my half marathon in Houston that morning. I will rehydrate with beer!

 

I sure hope to get tickets, planning on being there with my wife.

I think it sold out in 2-3 weeks last year but not sure.

That's not even that bad. Everyone so far has made it seem like it's going to sell out in like 30 minutes. I think in another thread it was said they'd go on sell on the 3rd. I'm just gonna buy mine that day and not worry about it.

 

Just remember last year they couldn't sell bottles to go and they weren't releasing two super rare fruited sours. People will be buying tickets for mules to get those beers.

 

Very true. I'm sure they'll think of some way to make it harder for that to happen.

I'll be there. Hoping people are there for the right reasons (and not to mule beers). I would be perfectly content if all the bottles of the new fruit sours are only available for on site consumption. The last two Funk and Sour fests were a blast. I'm wondering if they'll be doing a Sweet and Sour soiree again. Hope to see some of y'all there!

 

I may go too. I like beer events. I will only purchase an appropriate amount of tickets.

I find these thoughts to be both "worrisome" and "troublesome".
