Fist pump for you, Expo is one of my most favorite big IPA's. We were at San Diego Beer Week a few years ago and went to Alpine at least three different days and they had a keg of Expo on tap that was 1-2 years old...I was skeptical and afraid to order one (like Alpine is going to put a crappy beer on tap, let alone during beer week) - even though it was more malt forward it still blew me away, never experienced an IPA with that kind of age and was still that good. Better yet, 'brought three bottles home of fresh Expo to enjoy.

Keeping it simple tonight and supporting the guys over at my local brewery, New Jersey Beer Company.
This is a pretty solid stout...they're bottling their first ever ipa soon which I am pretty excited for.

In her defense, that's what happens when one gets old...they get shaky and drop stuff.

Post 30 mile dirt road bike ride with heavy climbing :grinning:

Growler of September Bliss. A hoppy rye pale lager with orange zest. Wowed me at the pub Saturday night, so I got a growler of it before I left the area last night. This beer just kicks ass, plain and simple. Big mango, tangerine, pineapple, peach, orange/lemon zest with prominent pine, spicy rye and light honey/bready malt. Extremely crisp but not overpowering bitterness. 4% = easy growler that doesn't kick your ass  . I love shorts session beers.

This is absolutely fantastic. Tons of complexity of dark/roasted malts with prominent presence of the vanilla/brown sugar and oak aging. great amount of complexity and really well balanced. Delicious.

I wasn't going to drink tonight but I got back from the gym a little early with the games on and now I'm enjoying another Flipside. I'm have a premonition that I'm going to buy a lot of this before it's over. Cheers![IMG]

First time trying this. Was expecting a little bit more based on the hops used & the aroma, but this is pretty good & I could really see this growing on me.

First canning out in the wild for this local. I liked the first quaff but the aftertaste isn't as appealing. I've got a couple more cans to see if I come around to it. Cheers!
