    This was raffled correct?

No that's not entitled. While this is for charity, why even bother write a blog about it and not include not important information such as daily limits either in the initial post (or make a subsequent post)
Should this surprise anyone? Absolutely not.
The funniest thing was how ffac sales were suspended last night until the 'event' and everyone at the bar was just waiting for the sales to resume to buy their's (some left after, some stayed)

The goal is to sell the beer for charity. While you do want it to last for the duration of October, breast cancer awareness month (I'm assuming that's an unstated goal) and you want the beer to reach as many hands as possible (maybe), why not make these (or others) objectives known to who is actually handing over their money?

Yes, the 3L was raffled, not for sale.

Got a table just before 7, and when the selling opened back up, they limited us to 6 per group (2 of us in my case) this didn't look like the case if we were at the bar. Oh we'll, thankful I got 3 at least. Had a couple pours on tap, and YUM! Latest fb post looks like it will be 27 cases/day through the weekend, at 6/pp or 1 case/group.

Got there at 6:45 last night and didn't manage to order a beer until just after 7, which worked out as they'd just brought in the remaining FFaC allocation for the evening. Was able to grab six and then hang out for dinner and some belly dancing. Fun event!

If anyone didn't get any who wanted some, pay attention to their Facebook--looks like they'll be selling 27 cases per day through Sunday with a 6-bottle limit per person and a case limit per group. I imagine showing up at opening on any given day would ensure your ability to grab some.

Oh, and the beer was great, by the way. Had a couple pours on draft and it's seriously delicious--a great balance of sweetness and tartness.

Got my SR buddy to pick me up six today. He went around 11:45 said there was no line. I only wanted six, so I'm not sure if more were available.

Yeah, GoseInTheMachine is definitely a troll  I didn't stick around for the raffle results but they raffled off one last night, and apparently they raffled off one that morning for the employees as well. I may have misheard, but I believe they said they only bottled 6 of the 3-liters.

So, maybe I'm being dense, but I still don't get exactly how this is going down. Are they releasing so much when they open at 11 am then a second wave later on in the day?

This is what I observed yesterday:

In the morning they released 12 bottle cases. One person told me it was a 2-case limit per table. Once the pallet of those cases were sold, they went to a 6 bottle limit. Bottle supply was replenished from the warehouse every hour or two, it did not seem to be scheduled. For example a shipment hit the bar around 4 and some people had been waiting for bottles since around 2. Around 7 another shipment arrived, even though some of the bar staff said they would only have it on draft during the party. BTW not trying to imply that the bar staff were trying to mislead anyone, just that I think it was all a bit chaotic.

My guess (based on some input from staff last night) is that they will maintain the 6-bottle limit for the coming days, along with the staggered bottle supply. Natalie indicated that her goal was to have bottles available through the weekend. <based on a comment above this one, I may be wrong>

They are releasing 27 cases a day so 54 people can get a max allotment of six bottles through Sunday. The 27 cases went quick today. I was there at opening and when I left an hour later it looked like they were gone

Ugh. OK, thanks. Not trying to take off work for this and not really worth a two hour round trip on the off chance that more gets released later on.

They should just do 2 per person if they only have 27 cases a day.
