The first shipments of Le Terroir were printed with the wrong UPC on them. Meaning they scan as an $8.99 previously used UPC from NB. This is the main reason for our delay here in CO and also the big price variation. Stores that already had the UPC set up never changed the due to the pricing. Big oops for NB. Big $ for us.

I live in Fort Collins and ended up ordering several from France44, which saved me about $5/bottle with shipping included. Hopefully the beers enjoyed riding to MN and back to Fort Collins...

I'm not buying the whole UPC code problem for being the reason these seem to be less expensive everywhere compared to Colorado. I realize the holdup for getting it to the market was a barcode issue, but not the pricing.
I recall the same price discrepancy when La Folie came out.
Now LetsPour just solidifies that something stinks with pricing. $12 per bottle including shipping and $10.50 on bulk pricing. That's less expensive to the cost to liquor stores in Colorado. Your comparison is $7.50 for a bomber of Fat Tire (6 bucks bulk buying).
Not getting this one at all.

Paid $17.99 for a bottle today. Why do I feel like I got ripped off?

Because the last release was $8.99 and everyone around the country (except us) is paying $8.99 for this release?

    Hi all,

I work at NBB and can comfirm that the SKU code was mistakenly placed on Le Terroir bottles for the $8-$9 Lips of Faith instead of the appropriate SKU which would be for $17. We were able to change that here in CO (by HAND, mind you) to reflect the appropriate price, but some stores outside CO still have it selling at the mistake price.

We are in no way, shape, or form trying to charge people in CO more for any reason, this was just a collasal mess-up that is currently being taken care of.

Please bear with us! And thank you for supporting us and enjoying Le Terroir!

    Cheers,

    Drew
