How many beers do you drink at one time?

Hydration? Beer already has water in it.

I can go 8 or 10 high alcohol beers in an evening. Moreso if they are of average ABV. An evening "session" for me consists of 8-9 hours of imbibing, with plenty of water between bottles and ample sustenance.

 

Usually one 12 oz. or one bomber or one 750 ml.

 

I buy them a 6 pack at a time and I drink them a six pack a time during the week and the weekends are whatever I feel like drinking

 

I don't usually count. I'm not very good at it.

 

For me this really depends on the situation. At home on a weeknight its usually 2-4 12oz beers from dinner time until i go to bed, however due to variance in ABV i suppose 2-6 standard units of alcohol is probably more accurate.

For weekends I typically start off drinking 1-3 "craft" beers then switch over to marcro brew(usually rolling rock or PBR). 6-12 is average, but I have been known to "kill a case" every now and then.

If im at a bar or an informal restaurant my friends and I usually take turns buying the pitcher( typically whatever macro brew is on special that day) which would put me at 6+/- units of alcohol.

If im at a nice restaurant im either on a date or with my parents so I tend to just have a beer while waiting on food to come out and possibly another while eating.

 

I'm recently retired. A little bored. Live alone. LOVE beer and have discovered a whole new world of taste in craft brews. I drink like a true 'merican man...in boxers, home, in front of a big screen. I avg about 5-7 beers a night and sleep tight and late. Recently found Sumpin Wild at good price and REALLY sleeping tight! Life's fuckin good!

 

Just as well. I've found the more you drink, the more difficult it gets.

 

I only drink on day names that end with "y"

 

During the week, maybe 2. On the weekend it could be 3-10.

 

1-3 in a sitting is my average.

I dont drink to get drunk, I drink for the flavor and for social reasons.

 

I'm trying to lose weight, so typically Sun-Thursday maybe 1 beer over the five days. Weekends (Friday/Saturday) are a different beast altogether. I will typical start around 11ish and drink til I go to bed. Around my house beer is the new water...and has been for years. Oh yeah, so weekends...anywhere from 6-10 per day.
