Google has only yeilded one website, which looked just a little too skeevy. Do any of you fine folks know of a retailer that ships to California?

Just set up a trade. Living in California you would easily have the ammo to get plenty of breakfast stout.

Half Time Beverage ships that beer, but is Ca. one of those states that doesn't allow shipping beer to its citizens?

I have a lot of last years batch that has been properly stored, and am in California. The coffee flavor starts to fade a little, but I enjoy that a little more, but there a lot of people like it less. If you want to set something up send me a message. If you want fresh I am sure there are people who have that also.

Thankfully, they ship to California. I've ordered from them a few times. I like them.

I'm in Michigan and can get plenty of fresh FBS easily at retail of $10 a 4 pk. I'd be happy to trade for something I can't get here, BM me if interested.

CA is one of those states that it seems every store can ship to.

Yup, it killed, but still cheaper than a plane ticket to the Midwest from CA. :-) I also picked up a Pumking and Justin Blaeber, so I feel pretty happy about paying the extra for shipping.

    Thanks for the responses, everyone!

My first thought was to set up a trade but I "have insufficient privileges to post in this forum". Guess I have to start being more active here...

Half time beverage looks like the best deal. If I buy a case each 4-pack will be just under $20 including shipping and some beer geek friends already offered to split the case. (FYI: $89.94 for the case and $24.99 shipping - Not bad!)

Love the idea of setting up a trade with y'all in the future. I work at a grocery store that carries Pliny the Elder (sometimes we get in ONE DAY after being bottled) as well as some fairly hard-to-get Californian cheeses. I'd love to share the wealth with some far-off foodies!

Half Time is doing free shipping on any case over $100 (promo code = FREESHIP). 3 - 4 packs of Breakfast Stout, 4 bottles of JW Lees Harvest, and 2 - 4 packs of Brooklyn Chocolate Stout cost me $104.91 shipped to San Diego.

I tried to just do a case of Founder's Breakfast but it came in at $89.94 and didn't qualify for free shipping so I had to break it up a bit. Luckily, I love the Brooklyn as well and the JW Lees was the same price as bottle shops out here, so it ended up being a phenomenal deal.

He'd probably rather just enter his credit card number & wait a few days that deal with the hastle. I live trading, but lately unless it's something a trading buddy can't get or vice versa, ordering is just convenient.

Having a trading partner in Mich. has benefits wayyyyyyyyy beyond a bit more convenient to get the easy to order stuff with a Credit Card.

And with the mark up on beer and shipping on these websites, trading can be cheaper and in some cases more rewarding. *extras

I have a lot of friends in Michigan, with one at Founders. I trade a lot, but take into context what this thread is about. A shelf beer.

Halftime works good. I've always found they are the easiest way to get BCBS without trading as well.
