I don't really get all the La Fin love, I mean it's not a bad beer but it's not something I would continue to go back to time and time again. I think Westmalle, St Bernardus and Chimay are all lightyear's better than anything Unibroue is putting out it really boggles my mind why that beer gets so much love especially when people rep it as the best of it's style.

Chimay on tap. Now, where's that Easy Button.

I'm a fan of Devils Backbone, but let's tap the brakes. It's a solid Triple but does belong in the same conversation as Chimay IMO.

Agreed! Not just a great Triple, but one of my favorite beers, period.

I haven't seen Sprecher around here in a while, but I really like that one as well.

EDIT: The tripel that is. Plenty of Sprecher's other offerings around.

Was anyone else underwhelmed by karmeliet? I've had it both from bottle an tap and wasnt that impressed. Not a bad beer but it didn't live up to the hype for me. Need to get my hands on some st bernardus tripels

I think La Fin Du Monde is a great Tripel on occasion but Westmalle is the winner in my book.

Watou Tripel, better than St. Bernardus but harder to find. In my opinion it's simply perfectly balanced, more so than any of the true trappist monasteries except possibly La Trappe Tripel which is the best ever.

Yeah, and to even call Devil Dancer a triple IPA is a stretch.

Allagash White is not a tripel. Allagash's tripel is Allagash Tripel.

But my favorite tripel, maybe my favorite beer, is Curieux.
