My first experience as well, and I agree on all counts.. though my wallet allowed me only to buy a 6 pack for now. Drank one, one in the fridge, and aging 4.. in theory.. assuming I can keep my paws off them..

Insane DIPA. Tons of citrus rinds/zests with pineapple, peach, and pine resin. I was amazed how crisp/sticky the mouthfeel was; there is just enough pale malt balance to keep the pine from becoming cloying. Dangerously drinkable for near 9% too.

Great saison! Tons of bright fruity brett complexity with spicy/earthy hops/yeast. Very crisp and drinkable.

Schlafly TIPA, and while it is very good, I must admit AIPA is still better.....

I'm having a fresh Firestone-Walker Union Jack and I don't need to post an image or video to underscore the point!

    A mixture of yesterday's and today's brews:
    Lagunitas Hop Stoopid

Boddingtons Pub Ale. Meh at best, exactly what I expected going in.

No picture, but ended with Elysian BiFrost. Not bad!

Today we've had Weihnenstephan Vitus and it is very, very good!

Enjoying a Green Bullet from Green Flash. I'm liking this batch better than the one I had on tap last year.

    Nightcap:

I still have some 2011's in the cellar, but I had some 2013 over labor day weekend randomly and it blew me away. So I decided to have some more. Some of the best $7 you will ever spend? Fuck yes. I don't think you can go wrong with any vintage of this beer. I may be slightly partial to the hoppier profile of fresher batches, but I ain't complaining about any of them ever.

    Cheers
