I'm gonna go with letter 4, Sierra Nevada, but only because I have never had any of the other ones... I live a sad and sheltered life.

I know there are better IPAs that come out around this time, particularly Hopslam and Sucks, but there's just something about Celebration............

Celebration is just the winter comfort beer for me. I'll go out of my way to get both Hopslam and Sucks, but I know that there is plenty of Celebration to go around, and I'll always have a case in my fridge for a couple months. Comforting thought :stuck_out_tongue:

Celebration just hit shelves here. It is tasting amazing this year!

Other than that...I really can't wait for Abrasive, Alchemy Hour and Illumination.

Hopefully you seen the Schlafly's soon, it's been in my fridge non-stop since the 7th of this month.

Great list. I'd switch the order a tad, but it's pretty much perfect. I'd add Double Trouble but that might be more of a spring release. I'm more anxious for Founders Harvest than anything other than perhaps Sucks right now, but I'm considering Harvest, Tasmanian IPA, and Deschutes Chasing Freshies and Hop Trip to be more fall than winter beers so I'm not counting those.

    +1 all the above.

How about the SN Hemisphere Harvest IPAs?! They're the Beaujolais Nouveau of IPAs. Drinking the 2013 NHH version now!

Abrasive (by mail order), Sucks, and HopSlam. As for HopSlam, it used to be I wanted all I could find- not so much now. That's OK for my belly and my wallet.

I think every reply so far has been an IPA?

I enjoy some of the classic winter warmers, Deschutes Jubelale and Full Sail Wassail.

Kiwi Rising from Jack's Abby (I know, technically a DIPL), and Sucks. I'll buy my obligatory sixer of Celebration at some point - a nice beer, just not one I get as fired up for as most of the masses. Still waiting for the announcement that Bell's is expanding distribution to MA... :slight_frown:
