    I had a bottle recently and although it smelled some what acidic it was not sour.

    Nope, gotta go across the river unless it changed since 2005 when I left Nac. Hoards of Angelina county folks lining up at drive through beer stores on the other side of the river for 30 packs of bud red every night. The ones that got paid that day stopped at baby dolls but I think that place closed a few years. Ago. I miss the goold old piney woods...

    It's my understanding that the kegs shipped down will be used for special events/tappings. A very limited amount of this beer made it out of the KC area.

    Angelina was no longer a dry county as of November '06 elections, I believe. Not sure when it went into effect, exactly. But that high concentration of dive bars/drive-thrus isn't what it used to be. Much safer to drive across the river, now.

    the distro in austin that handles sprecher does deliver to dfw as well. just very small and usually dont have much in stock.

    Well its November and Goose Island's Bourbon County Stouts should be hitting the shelves. Just hope they hit some of the ones here......
