5 Favorite Beers from Your State

Typically it is. The release schedule isn't consistent because they like to tap various old vintages on random days just as a surprise. Like I was there one day in May and they had decided to tap a barrel of the 2008, which was incredible.

As I've said in other threads, I think it's a world-class beer, by far the best barleywine I've tried (even accounting for homerism) and I think the only reason it slipped from the top spot in the American Barleywine ratings is because they don't bottle it, hence it hasn't become a whale on the trading scene.

 

It is the only beer I hear folks from that area jones for or brag about. I like most of their stuff, so I'm sure it's worth a drive up to obtain...

Thought the duganA had a little more hop bite than the Maharaja - loves me some hops. Quite possible the Maharajas weren't quite as fresh as the last several duganAs I've had. The Twenty was good, just not great IMHO.
