    What's the bottling date on that? 10/11?
    Occasionally find em same week bottled and they're an aroma overload...and not in a bad way!
    And that bomber will have you feeling GOOD!

    Per the brewery this growler was from the last keg of COAST Boy King of the year. Hopefully the next batch is ready Jan 1st!

    Started with a couple of these guys.

    Then to some dueling Bastards... 2012 v. 2013

    Verdict is.. FRESH wins. Aged has more smoke, less booze, less vanilla and barrel character. More sweet brown sugar notes and tobacco. Both are great, but I enjoy the boozy barrel vanilla and coconut notes fresh. This will be my last year aging it if I can help it. Glad I got a fresh case of BB!

    Drinking this with dinner and for my nightcap.

    Nantahala Brewing's Trail Magic #4. Bourbon Barrel aged RIS with local sorghum and honey. Love it.

    Busy day of yard work, great fall day. Mother's Fancy Pants Belgian IPA with a Mother's Winter Grind Coffee Stout on deck. Pulling for LSU, but they are sure trying to give this game to Bama...
