This is good. Very sweet and easy to drink. I see why it is popular.

Delicious Oktoberfest! Very nice robustness and balance of malt flavors; fairly clean on the lager esters too. Absolutely spot on to style over here, I wish I had more than the single.

2010 bottle, I bought this a while ago, read bad reviews so I just stuck it in hiding. Tastes really nice now lots of big dark caramel/toasty malts with a variety of dark/light fruit complexity. Very smooth sipper. Nice

Celebration. 7.99 a sixer. And what a beer. I'm guessing it will be roughly three cases for me this year...can't say that about many other seasonals.

My birthday is Thursday, so thinking I'll pull an old favorite or something I've been saving from the cellar each day of "birthday week."

Matilda 2012 with my roommate and craft beer novice. It's great. I've never had it aged before and it's so much better with a year on it. I'm debating buying another bottle or two so I can age them to 3 and 5 years.

So sorry. :slight_frown::slight_frown::slight_frown: Raising my glass in his honor - speaking of which, they named the park after him, that's an awesome tribute.
