Any sightings of this in the west metro/SLP area?

 

I thought it was more mellow on the bourbon this year. It's drinking amazingly right now. Got four 4pks, but gonna try and find at least one more I think, because I can see this not lasting long in my cellar.

 

I've only had like 2oz of it (WEOB in Frankenmuth this year), but I quite enjoyed it. I'd love to have a bottle of it. Might pick one up this year if I can get my hands on it.

 

Completely agree. I got a case, and I plan on drinking one every week or two. It's very possible my palate has changed a lot, but I remember last year thinking Backwoods was pretty damn hot, and needed some aging. Drank a '13 on Saturday night and thought it was very smooth already.

 

Also looking for this beer. Passed on it last year and regret it. Still never tried it.

MGM has some decent stuff, if you dont mind baying an extra 10%

 

I tried it for the first time last year and loved it. I flew into Des Moines on Friday and was able to buy one four pack at the Fleur Hy Vee. Thank you Des Moines BA's for leaving that one for me.

I'm sure we will. It has been on in years past. Seems like we get everything Founders bottles on tap at some point at certain bars.

 

Happy Gnome is doing a Founders event on 11/21 and will be tapping BB along with 2 vintages of KBS (presumably '12 and '13?). Hope to make it there after work since I'll be in St. Paul that day...should be a good time although it seems their prices have gotten even more exorbitant recently. I'm betting $1/oz minimum.

I picked up a 4-pack at Stinson yesterday around 4. They had it behind the counter, so I don't know how much was left.

 

Same here, took me 3 different stops to acquire these. Split the case with someone.

 

Rochester still has some, but they are selling for $4 a bottle.

Just got two four packs at crossroads for $11.99 apiece

 

I paid $4.99 (x2) per bottle at the Ale Jail in St Paul. They wouldn't allow me to add them to a mix six to save 10%. Seemed a little steep to me. That's based on my (possibly incorrect) memory of paying $13 for a 4-pack last year at a different store.

 

For anyone that missed this, it looks like it just dropped again. Found a 4pk at Cellars in Eagan. $11.99

 

Thanks for the info! I live 2 minutes from there and just grabbed a 4 pack. They had two 4 packs on the shelf no clue if they had any in back as of 5 minutes ago.
