Peabody's/Foothills Blendiculous #2 Release Dec. 7th!!

Yep, it's about that time!! The eagerly awaited (mainly because we're so thirsty!) Peabody's Blendiculous series #2 is coming at ya'! The second in the Blendiculous Series will be released December 7th with bottles going on sale at 12pm at Peabody's Wine and Beer Merchants in the lovely hills of Boone, NC! Foothills comes to play in this version of the series by throwing down the hammer on your expectations of a Hoppy Imperial Brown Ale! You know them as one of the best breweries in the Southeast and we're excited to bring something a little different your way! Jamie, TL, Evan, and the crew will be at the shop to let you taste some goodies and answer your questions, while the line is running through! Some Specs on the Brew:

Style: Imperial Brown Ale
Dry Hopped, Then Dry Hopped, Then Dry hopped again, and then dry hopped.....True Foothills fashion, it will be a beast!

Barrels: Balcones Rumble Barrels (Blue Corn Whiskey aged with Mission Figs, Turbinado Sugar, and Wildflower Honey) and Cask Reserve Single Malt Barrels

Other Sexyness: TL has found some crazy exotic oil extracts, soooo of course we're all about it, Some of these have been blended in with the focus of more orange variants. Aged for 3 months in the barrels and then dry hopped...again, and blended with oils and "such" back in together!

Probably 20 cases or so at the brewery and draft at the brewpub

Probably 6 btls / person to start out and 4 bottles as the stack gets down to around 30-40 cases, we will make sure to get through the line before we start cutting bottles limits

Yep, I figured it would be perfect timing to snag a tree for all you "flat landers"! It's going to be a little nippy ( in the 40's so not that bad by our standards), and the rain should be gone by the middle of the morning, should be perfect tree huntin' weather (and beer huntin' of course!!)!

A few details:

Parking: Parking will be available in the Peabody's Parking lot, The Courtyard by Marriott (adjoining lot), The Sagebrush Parking lot (across the street) and the Baymont Inn Parking Lot (Across the Street).

As I have gotten a few questions on the matter, There will be NO need for camping or showing up at an ungodly early hour! The Release will be at Noon and the line should start around 10ish I would think, so plenty of time. Do remember that it will be -193 degrees until we open the store at 9 AM, when it will abruptly warm up to almost 50 degrees!!

We can't wait for you to try Blendy #2, I'm having a hard time trying to keep my hands off of it, Hope there is some left for ya'!!
