    still hitting--and loving--brooklyn blast.

    2013 was a great year for beer, and a great year for the IPA in particular. cali breweries, VT geniuses, and precocious MA upstarts hitting hop-centric homeruns, but surprisingly (and luckily for all of us) old standby multi-style breweries like victory and brooklyn bottling beers that take the hop bomb IPA to new places (beautiful german malt background for dirtwolf, perfect clarity british goldings hops in blast).

    very pleased about this.

    Hit up TRVE Brewing earlier today to grab a bomber of their just released sour brown and had a Tunnel of Trees IPA while there. Now back home and finishing my bottle of Funkwerks's Peach Whiskey Barrel Aged Tropic King.
