I liked it more than regular which is opposite of what I've heard. Def a great beer

 

2013 BB GBS > 2013 GBS > 2012 GBS > 2012 BB GBS

(In my opinion)

2013 BB GBS has much more cinnamon on the noses nd taste. The bourbon rounds out the flavor well, and it isn't boozy. Last year the bourbon was super strong and overpowered the spices.

The bummer was that something like 40 barrels of BB GBS were accidentally lost due to a mechanical failure.

And now the real countdown begins. 8 days and a wake up til all hell breaks loose.

Thankfully my girlfriend and her dad are both big into beer I have partners in this mission

 

Oh the pressure!
I guess all of Mass is a refrigerator right now which is probably helpful.
I know I'd have no where enough space for all those growlers.

 

Yup all the beer is in a mud room between the gf's house and outside kept at a nice 45-60 so free cellaring!

 

I'm fortunate to have a SO who is also into beer - she surprised me with a Bruery Reserve Society Membership for Christmas!
