Also, this went down last night:

Pliny came out on top followed closely by Heady; Head Hunter did a nice job holding its own against the big boys and (in my opinion) beat out Jai Alai by quite a bit. It was a good night.

Saw you checked these in last night. I did a comparison of Pliny, Heady and abrasive last year. For me it was Abrasive>Pliny>Heady. But with that being said I still love all of those beers.

Now I need to try head hunter and Jai alai and see how those taste.

    How old was the Heady/Pliny?

Also, has anybody ever mixed Heady and Abrasive together? It sounds like a bad idea, but I liked it, I tell you what.

Pliny was 12/16. Not sure about the Heady, but @sandman3479 might be able to clarify? the Head Hunter was 12/3 and the Jai Alai was 12/6.

It is a sweet glass. This is as close as I could get to proper glassware.

The Heady was either a month old, or a week old. I had 1 1 month old 4 pack and 2 1 week old 4 packs. Not sure who got what.

Yeah, it's an unpopular stance, but I'm just not that into Jai Alai. I wouldn't kick it out of bed, but there are many I'd lay before it.

I think it just falls off pretty fast. I wasn't a fan at all the first couple of times I tried it. I think they were maybe 2-3 weeks old at most. Then I got a couple of cans that were maybe 3-4 days old and it was great. It was like drinking a totally different beer. I had the same experience with Jack's Abby Kiwi Rising. I picked up 4 from the brewery on the first day of release. The first couple of bottles that I had were phenomenal. Right up there with the best IPAs I've tasted. By day 5 it was a completely different beer, much more bitter and not nearly as juicy as it was fresh. Don't get me wrong it was still good, but not the same

Damn, dropping off in 5 days? Then again, I've had Zombie Dust that was less than a week old and Zombie Dust that was a month old - the difference was incredibly pronounced.

Yup, don't get me wrong it was still a good beer just different. The resin and bitterness took over the back end of the beer. Fresh is was much more balanced and juicy. You could smell the tropical fruit across the room when first poured
