BeerAdvocate mobile beta: Testers Wanted

I am in St. Louis, MO, using the mobile app. I pulled up the Nearby places map, but I found at least one brewery/pub that does not show on the map:

Not sure why this is the case, but I am reporting it.

 

I noticed that the place had an error in the address (North instead of South 8th St.). I changed it, and maybe it will now show on the places map.

Sorry. Off topic. I just love the web site and will not use the app because all the random content I come across on the web site actually turns out to be important in broadening my horizons. I stumbled upon the site and have been stumbling around here ever since. Having said that maybe my horizons with continue to broaden and I will have need for the app, so keep up the good work.

P.S. I stumbled upon this and in all seriousness I have no idea how I got here. Long live randomness!

 

Whenever I click the link to Forums from the app/mobile site I get an error message that says, "error loading page". Has anyone else had this problem? If I click the link in this thread to the mobile site it works fine.

I am having the same issue on my iPhone. Been like that for a few days.

Forgot to add, I cannot access any forums. I have tried deleting the "app" and reinstalling. Get the same result every time.

 

Is there a way to get to the Top 250 list through the mobile site? I like looking at that list, and I haven't been able to do it.

 

That is the exact error that I still get. I have an iPhone 4. When I click the BA badge to go to the mobile site I get into home just fine. When I click on forums that error pops up. All the other links work fine.

I notice that if I type the address into Safari on my phone I have full access.

It seems I only get the issue if I save the bookmark to my phones desktop. If I try to navigate the app thru the desktop, that's when I get the error. Very wierd.

 

That works for me too. Just for fun I clicked the link in the first post in this thread from Todd and that works for me too. I agree it's when I click the badge from my desktop that it doesn't work.

 

I'm getting the message "Error Loading Page" when selecting search from the menu. The forums works fine. This has been happening for 3 days now. iPhone 4S

I delete and reload and it's the same error. Is the problem in my phone?

 

I don't think it is your phone. I think the people being affected are iPhone users. It may be something within the app. I wonder if anything was changed on the app in the last week or so that may be causing the issue.

 

I'm curious if it had to do with the server move.

 

The BeerAdvocate "app" is not an app. It is a mobile version of the website.

However, I have also encountered issues on my iPhone 2 weeks ago.
