    Finishing off this bottle of Grand Cru from last night. I re-corked it way too late, so it's lost some (but not all) carbonation, and it's much more vinegary at refrigerator temps. Still, it's very good, and it will only get better as I go. Those weird little shorty corks are at least easier to re-cork.

    As I expected, this beer has really opened up again now that it's around cellar temperature. So, so good. (I wouldn't normally have re-corked it, but I opened it pretty late last night and decided the smart path was to eventually stop drinking.)

    Congratulations on the addition to the family! It's really wonderful, isn't it?

    Amazing really, and thanks! We didn't find out what we were having, so when the announcement came of 'It's a boy!'...yeah, I got pretty emotional. Took some time off from work and have been helping around the house and playing lots with my daughter. Life is good!:grinning:
