I think Alesmith IPA is incredible, it has one of if not the best mouth feel of any standard American IPA IMO. The only drawback is that it collects dust on the shelves here in AZ so it seems that we rarely get a fresh batch. But if it was available fresh more often (I'm usually not too much of a stickler when it comes to freshness but we're talking at least 6 months) it would be in heavy rotation for me, especially if it was in the 6 or 4 pack format. Alesmith is way too cool for anything but bombers though, its beneath them.

That's the beauty of craft beer and each person's sense of taste and smell:

My favorite bomber-only IPA among beers I'm drinking today is Cambridge Brewing's Big Man, a winter seasonal. (I also dig their Spring Training and Flower Child, which are also both seasonal bomber-only IPAs.)

My favorite bomber-only IPA among beers I drank yesterday is Pretty Things' Meadowlark.

(In related news, I'm enormously pleased that Wormtown's Be Hoppy is no longer solely available as a bomber-only IPA.)

If you get Green Flash, keep an eye out for 4-packs of Palate Wrecker out now. Just over a month old, it's still drinking incredibly. It's not nearly as easy drinking as something like Double Jack, Hop Stoopid, etc., just incredibly bitter and "green" tasting IMO. Founders Double Trouble or Sierra Nevada's Hoptimum is a better match. If you like their West Coast IPA, you should be in luck :grinning:
