It's pretty solid.. nothing amazing IMHO, but it's well crafted and fun to drink..

Short's publican porter. Was excited when i saw the six pack at my "goto" beer store. Do not see it often, like many ofthe shorts beers. They seem to be putting more out lately, love the mystery stout.

That happens everywhere don't get too upset. My beer store I'm usually scared to buy any IPAs from unless I ordered them or they have a bottle date.

That he hasn't had much craft beer.

Case in point: Anchor Steam = his #1 beer.

    Quite tasty:

Picked up some Hi-Res (yes!) and some Matt's Burning Rosids, but I don't think I'm going to get around to anything else this afternoon and evening; a growlette of ~10% ABV beer will likely be more than enough for me.

    Cheers!

Just for you bro. 2 1/2 year old uinta labyrinth (bottled 6/09/11) surrounded by it's peers wondering why I'm drinking it instead of them...

This is an IPA from Sweden's second largest macro brewery. Tastes just like you expect from a US style IPA, hoppy and bitter with a somewhat sweet malt backbone. It's not extraordinary, or something I've never had before, but it's a solid take on the style and it is certainly equal to several craft IPAs that I've had. Going by the best before date this was bottled 10 days ago which is also nice. Just goes to show what can be done by a big brewer if the right intention is there.
