    never heard of the beer but damn that food looks tasty... i have smoked salmon, canned tuna, canned sardines on hand so all that is also up for consideration for the after beer meal!

    Rodenbach? It's a classic Flanders Red Ale, sour but not overpoweringly so, and generally has good availability (in the US, anyway). If you see some, I'd snag it and try it; it's become one of my favorite beer styles, and Rodenbach does it quite well.

    TGIF BA! I was very sad because of the snow storm that I thought would keep me from getting any Hopslam this year. But I found it today at Wegman's. (Woohoo!) [​IMG]

    While I was there I picked this up to keep me busy while the Hopslam chills. :grinning: I like it. This beer has a mouthfeel that is light and thin but a flavor that is very full. I have heard that in Pennsylvania if you ask for a lager they automatically give you this beer.

    Yes that sounds delish! The beer is a ale that is 75% young ale and 25% 2 year aged ale that aged in oat vats... It's sweet and tart and it's awesome! A lil pricey tho..
