they updated one of the pages on the darklordday website, and it read saturday 3/17 for 2014 tickets. checked their FB page and someone asked for clarification and Floyds responded that it would be Monday and that it will get fixed on the website....

Im torn between if I like the MOnday ticket sales. Maybe less people trying to get tix since it is a work day and not everyone can access a computer at work, and cell phone wireless is utterly useless for the traffic that the site will get. Hmmm. Oh well, hope to score a ticket.

I doubt it slows anything down one bit....maybe people's productivity at work around that time?

I asked someone I recently traded this question and got an answer, but I wanted a few more opinions / thoughts on this.

I know Three Floyds sells a bunch of their regular beer on Dark Lord Day, and most likely a ton of it due to the number of people that attend. Is stuff like Gumballhead and Zombie Dust completely wiped out, so much that Three Floyds won't have it on the shelf at their brewpub for a while because they sold everything they had for the foreseeable future ? I am very likely going to be visiting Chicago in May (either the weekend of May 9th or Memorial Day weekend), and I would be disappointed if these beers weren't available when I swung Three Floyds.

Sorry for the non-DLD related question. Thanks in advance.

You can pretty much forget about getting Zombie Dust on any weekend.

i've seen droughts of their regular releases weeks before DLD and having what seems like pallet drops of their regular stuff including ZD on DLD. It might last a few hours. I believe you can only buy once you're purchasing your DL.

    It's $30, but it'll be almost $38 after fees.

This is Three Floyds. Tickets should go on sale at 3 am. More people would be seriously screwed with as a result.

Only problem is a lot of people know about that and are taking that stance.
