    Decided to get to work emptying the fridge; grabbed one of these. First time from the bottle, actually; had it on tap before.

    Not bad; pretty good, really. Perhaps not as good or juicy as I remember on tap, but it's a solid, tasty DIPA.

    Love that place; need to go back soon. Hmm, maybe a Sunday pre-snow storm visit. (Plus, I'm 15 stamps away from a T-shirt...as though I needed motivation to drink there.)

    Visiting an old friend today. Shit ton here of taste for 4.2%. I think this old standby warrants aging in a barrel; BCBHA, are you listening GI? And yes that's the famous "black figure of a bird". But more importantly, yes that's a original 1994 unopened bottle of SA Triple Bock. Waiting for a trade offer from Overload.

    Better than the side project version I think.

    It's not as sweet and fruity. A bit more earthy and dank, and some slight catty notes to it similar to Simcoe.

    I'm not fond on rye that much, but the all mosiac hops with rye really shine together. It's a good beer for sure.
