So is the growler, in lieu of glasses for the current year?

I'm 100% happy for it. It seems we've been bombarded with new releases over the last few weeks. Not that I'm complaining, but everything hit at once.

I'm look forward to filling growlers of fresh stave beer, that's for sure!

Also agreed on waiting until May, that is all good by me!

At $12 a glass those 40oz growlers aren't going to be cheap

Well, maybe they'll get that dust collector up and running and brew some fresh beer for us to enjoy at flagship pricing...I hope.

    I'd pay 18-20 if it's good.

Members are getting a growler as part of their membership. So it's implied (by Chad saying as much) that growler fills will happen in the future.

Word is they're going to start brewing regular beers ( non barrel aged and no brett) at the source, so this is probably what they will sell in growlers.

Yeah there has been a lot of talk from people including staff about Chad's IPA (sach) they plan on brewing. I have high hopes.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the other stuff (i.e. brett beers, wood/barrel stuff) is sold in growlers, too, but I'd guess that there are likely to be some beers that get tapped that have a no growler policy. Otherwise, I'll be first in line with my growler at the WWBV tapping...

Would also be cool to have a specialty Cellar Reserve only tap like many places do for their membership clubs.

Having been to CS multiple times and watch people walk out when their only option is a sour/ saison those words on the street are accurate. The Source is a very hot spot right now and CS is losing out on a great opportunity. Yes, they are still doing amazing things, but EVERY time I have been there people walk out because of their lack of options. While I love what they currently produce I will admit I am intrigued by what they could offer traditional styles as well! If anything these new styles will allow for the sours/ saisons to stay on tap for even longer and mature even more. I am excited for all the good news!

Brite tanks installed last week, looks like those 'other' beers might be coming soon.
