I'm cool with the top four, but c'mon, Short's at 8? And Arcadia, Right Brain and the rest ahead of Greenbush or Vivant?

    Their science sucks.

Pretty much agree. Seems like an arbitrary list outside of the top four-ish.

And why is Short's so low?

All this crack head would have to do is ask 20 knowledgeable beer drinkers in MI, and he'd get his list right. Everyone knows Founders' beers have fallen off the map the past 3 years.

Cue the proverbial Doom/Bolt Cutter/Sweet Repute/Mango Magnifico jokey jokes.

Not that I agree with the list, but if y'all read all the way to the bottom it tells you how they came up with the Top 12.

Shorts got robbed. Easily top 5 in the state. And considering their capacity they do things well above their means. Staying in Michigan I love it.

For sure. But its hard for me to get that upset about this list. Opinions are one thing, but this list has New Holland ahead of Shorts. I know they used a point scale but its obvious this guy has never tasted a New Holland Beer.

Perhaps he has sampled one of the best beers on the planet, New Holland Pilgrims Dole.

    It is all relative.
