BA March Madness Tourney Pick 'Em

50 people and counting... Approximately 10% of the entries will get some beer. As it stands now, top 5 will make the cut.

 

As it stands right now, we are sitting on 53 people signed up through Yahoo! Pretty good considering we're sill 2 weeks away.

As I mentioned before, approximately 10% of the entries will make the cut and get beer. As an example, if we end up with 60 people, the payouts will look something like this:

1st- 20 beers
2nd- 14
3rd- 8
4th- 6
5th- 4
6th- 2

54 beers total will be shipped out (top 6 obviously won't be shipping). I will let everyone know who will be shipping to who once the Tournament is over. Tiebreakers will be determined by total score of the Championship game.

 

That was originally the plan, but then I was thinking about it... 30 boxes (I understand they wouldn't all get there at one time) on 1 person's doorstep is a bit much. The way the payout is currently planned to be structured, this allows the 1st place finisher to still win approximately 30% of the overall pot and others can reap the benefits of being at the top of the leaderboard too. IMO, it would make the tourney more fun and it would be nice to allow multiple people to win multiple beers.

I'm open to opinions though... if majority rules for the top-heavy payout we can go that route. If anybody has a preference let me know!
