    Love the bottle cap.

    Ever read a review or blurb and then think, "YES! That's it!" 100% here. I was thinking vague tropical fruit at first, not quite mango, not passionfruit, and then the label told me the answer: guava. As a native Miamian, this was spot-on - and remarkable. Super fruity DIPA. Not the best, but extremely tasty, drinkable, and worth seeking out.

    A note to the "Old Sucks" comments: here's what I've noticed. I have one bottle left from mid-December, and 5 bottles left from late January. I compared one of each within the last week. What I noticed was that the fresher one was as fantastic as always. The older one was actually still really good - but it had lost almost any hoppy sweetness that it had previously possessed. Still very hoppy, but more of a flat, earthy bitterness, and just not that flavor profile that we really love from that beer.

    So that was it. It was drinkable, and good, but it wasn't a good representation of Sucks anymore. That's with about 5 weeks of extra (entirely refrigerated) age. I'll drink my last December bottle still, because I don't think it was bad, but I definitely wouldn't buy a six pack at that age. (Look for the supposed year-round bombers, eh???)

    Man, the HF tap lineup looks insane right now. Tempted to abandon my family for yet another Saturday trip. :wink:

    Now, it's time for some tunes! And by tunes, I mean melancholy melodies, dark and depressing, fantastic yet foreboding, musical and morose....awesome and alliterative?

    My god it gets even better! Astral Weeks is by far the best of Van's albums, it's exactly that... 'astral' and I would also describe it as transcendent.

    Never had the beer so I can't comment if your beer tastes are as good as your musical ones! haha

    Got home and my youngest son is still not feeling well :slight_frown:, so the wife took the 2 older one's out to run errands while I have dinner and then get ready to clean up more of the house to sell it!

    I sure am my friend, probably my second favourite Van album! Bulbs is a wonderful song, best of the album in my opinion.

    To avoid going off track, I am now drinking an Innis and Gunn lager that I had in the fridge from ages ago....I'm not fussed but then I dont really like lagers.
