    Possibly.
One thing that I have learned during the last year as it has become increasingly more difficult to locate Lawson's Finest during times when I am off from work, is that there are tons of great beers out there that are exceptional. Not just local Vermont non "Big 3" brews but also some very fine beers from down south and out west.

I wish this was an option for me. Unfortunately I don't have a reliable designated driver and I refuse to drink and drive. So close but so far...

Good policy on the driving and I certainly agree that there are many beers out there that are truly great and not nearly all of them come from VT. Good luck in your quest for great beer!

From a non-Vermonter who is almost done with the "passport", there is plenty of great beer in VT that is not made by the big 3. I could drink Lost Nation Rustic/Gose, Fiddlehead IPA, and 14th Star Valor/Maple Breakfast for the rest of my life and die happy.

If anyone is going to this market and has a few Alchemist cans from this release and wants to trade a mixed 4 pack... let me know? I am sure we can work something out.

So no suggestions for when to get to the market on Saturday?

12-20 inches forecast for Wed and Thursday means skiing for me. I doubt it will interfere with travel plans for those coming from the south, but Thursday might be a tough commute.

Its a lawsons market with a very limited selection.

If I was going to go (I'm not, for this exact reason) I'd get there early

Like I said last month, DO NOT line up in front of the venue, this blocks the vendors & vendor parking. Please read the ticket details in the blog post dated January 30, 2014.

Tickets will be handed out at 8am, look for the person wearing the Lawson's Cheesehead( away from the front of thebuilding).

I completely agree. I'm a big fan of Lost Nation's Gose as well as Fiddlehead IPA and their other brews. I still need to make the drive up to St Albans to visit 14th Star Valor. It's great to see that a couple of our local veterans started their own brewery and I do want to support them.

How bad was/is the snow in Montpelier today?

Streets are all plowed, big snow banks, I-89 dry and clear, surface roads packed snow & icy. Temps in the 30's today should help alot of the surface roads.

Drove up from NH today. Roads are fine. Hit up Hunger Mountain a few minutes past 3 and they were blowing through Heady. Lawson's was sold out by 3:20. Excellent lunch at Three Penny and they have Double Sunshine on tap.
