Indeed it is, if not for the beer alone for the buffalo chicken sandwich and fried pickles!!!

Making your way through some SA samples?

Those ones always seem to stack up for me. Tried the Porch Rocker tonight though, pretty unique. Moved onto cocktails, just made a Caipirinha.

Really nice Bock. Lots of caramel, toast, and chocolate flavors with a nice dark fruit balance. A good session candidate.

A seriously great tripel! Really damn balanced with peppery and herbal notes; with plenty of lemon, pear, apricot, banana, bubblegum, and grape flavors. I fucking love tripels. And this will be my 37th in the style. The journey continues, and I have plenty more in my cellar to try out. Then I am moving to Dubbels lol(then Quads, but it will be a continuous Belgian style effort).

Agreed on the bock. We recently did a bock tasting and I bought what I could find at the local Whole Foods. Man, there are some terrible domestic bocks. Really enjoyed Anchor's though, but I'm a big fan of most all of their beer.

Drinking a Founder's Centennial IPA but started with a Rodenbach Grand Cru paired with a honey-glazed chicken/pear/walnut/Gorgonzola/cranberry salad

Yes, I have to triage the sample deliveries nearly every day. Bigger beers can wait, mid-range ABV seasoanls immediately, etc. Damn 1st world problems. A cocktail sounds great ... you just inspired me to have a nightcap.

Had two Black Note glasses at an ACBW event in Minneapolis and now finishing the night with some four roses manhattans before heading to Dallas for work the next three days.

    Black note is awesome!

Nice bottle opener, great beer & wish I had time to jump on Diablio III now. I'll have time this weekend if I don't go out to rid the world of evil.

Nice to see some Brew Kettle beer up on the site. Was just in the land of Cleve and picked up a sixer of the Citra-crazy White Rajah. Tonight is another great line-up, gotta love days off I and trips to the whole wholesaler. Started with a 3F Gumballhead, then a Founders Imperial Stout, Jolly Pumpkin La Roja(wonderfulness), and now sipping on a Feb. 23 batch of Allagash Curieux.

Just got a little underwhelmed by my first-ever Founder's Curmudgeon old ale. Quality interesting stuff, just kind of bland I guess.

Plead the Fifth ought to do the trick as a nightcap!.... I'll try a different old ale tomorrow.

I loved me some Susanna Hoffs, the others were just props in my world, although I still like the Bangles
