Logsdon Peche n Brett questions

Malt & Vine claims Friday for their bottles ... But it will probably still be a 1 bottle limit.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if it's sitting in their back room as we speak. Bottleworks and M&V tend to get shipments like this on the same day.....

Regardless, I'm pretty sure it's floating around some of the other usual spots so make sure you guys act fast - this one won't be around for long.

Eh I'm sure the distributor is still sitting on plenty. We've all played this game before.

 

I only saw one bottle last year (which I bought), and never saw a second shipment. I know Oregon got a second wave, but I don't think that hit us?

 

Last year I had no problem buying it in Tacoma. It even sat on the shelf for awhile.

 

Consider yourself lucky! Seattle wasn't like that all.

So i bought 2 bottles at a local store in portland weeks ago. Since then it has basically vanished. last weekend, the beer tasting between myself and a few friends got a little out of control (and I hadnt had dinner either) and I ended up popping one at about 11pm (this is after killing multiple bombers of 8% and up beer). I get maybe 1/4 through my glass of Peche and basically cant do it anymore, im on beer overload.......it gets poured out Both of my friends had not had it before and they finished all of theirs so at least only about 6oz went to waste, but the next morning I was irked that I would crack one of my favorite beers just to drain pour it because I was too faded.

Then last night i go in to Fire on the Mountain ( a chicken wing joint) to pick up some takeout. I look at their beer menu and low and behold in addition to the beers they brew themselves, they are offering Cerasus and Peche 'n Brette. I ask if they have any left, and bartender doesnt see any. he goes to the back and pulls out their last bottle. i then asked if he would let me take it to go.....he said yes! and for only $17. so effing random.

 

Drank a bottle of Peche n Brett two nights ago. It was amazing, got better as it warmed, and I wanted more by the time the bottle was empty. Can't say that about many other offerings in the same category. Terrific brew.

 

I don't always hunt whales, but when I do, I hunt Peche 'n Brett.

Joking aside, I've got two bottles. I see no need to get more, other people should have their chance to get them.

 

It's around. Just got a couple at one of my secret spots. If your store stocks Logsdon, ask if they have some in the back.

 

i work down in tacoma, and pint defiance will surely run out before i can get over there. any hints on where i could snag a bottle between tacoma and seattle?

 

Just saw some at the New Seasons in Cedar Hills Crossing. I didn't buy any, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't.

 

In Seattle, don't waste your time @ Whole Foods Roosevelt. This afternoon I stopped in to try to score a bottle (all I can afford these days) but they were all out. They got a single case and, with 2-bottle limits, it was gone in a flash. They said by the time they started considering changing to limiting purchases to 1 bottle, it was already too late. But with a single 12-bottle case, I'd argue that a 1-bottle limit would have been reasonable.

 

99 Bottles? I live on the northside, so don't know much about stores down there.

 

Beer Junction is out. Posted it this morning and was gone by 4pm when I stopped by.
