Bell's Black Note (2013)

I live in Indy but my Father in Law lives in Kalamazoo. He works three blocks from the general store. I asked him multiple to swing by and get me some. He kept putting it off and now I am empty handed.

 

Save this cautionary tale as leverage the next time you get into a fight with your wife.

Was just at the General Store an hour ago... They sold out Wednesday according to the bar tender .... He said that a second palate showed up Monday .. He also said that he isn't sure when it will be on tap at the eccentric cafe or when distro will see it fully

 

I think I heard this might be on shelves this week but very, very limited, I think… Hope I'm wrong on the limitedness.

 

Every store I've called said they had an idea of what day KBS would be in, but not a clue about Black Note. Anyone else get more of a clear response from any local stores?

 

Same thing in the Cleveland-eastern suburbs area. Not sure what the big secret is.

 

Get in better with your local beer guru. He or she will hold a bottle or four for you if you ask pretty please.

 

It's been announced to hit Atlanta Wednesday. 2 bottle limit. I would so like to just buy a full 4-pack for once!

Picked up one last weekend at Surdyk's. Limit one, six left on the shelf. Literally - grabbed one, took two steps away, wondering how I could bag a 2nd, turned around and there was tumbleweed rollin out where BN was sitting 5 seconds ago. Effin beer ninjas...

 

I do have a few guys that I am pretty cool with and they text me when stuff will be coming available, but no one has any idea when it's coming to our area. They did put me down to hold some if it comes in, however, so that's cool.

Completely incorrect. There was at least 20 cases that made it to GA last year. Ale Yeah Decatur got one, both Green's stores got four, Tower Piedmont got three. Several bars nabbed a case each. There was also PLENTY of draft available for nearly six months after the release if you knew where to go.

 

I had some places tell me possibly this week or next. Other places that I trust more said that they haven't heard anything and have no idea if/when it will come.

 

This beer seems to be a urban myth in ohio. Every time I ask about it, nobody has a clue.
