LaTerroir was great. The only problem I had with it that in BR and NOLA it was selling for $15+/bottle retail and when I was in Atlanta in September I happen to see it at Hop City and Green's for $9 a bottle and on letspour for $12. I don't what caused that but I doubt I'll be rolling through Atlanta the next time it comes out to take advantage of that price disparity.

I heard a rumor that the importer of Rodenbach is interested in distribution in LA. Would be a great addition.

Founders is scheduled to hit the La on March 31st. The first truck will be fairly small and we won't be getting our next truck for two months( end of May after ACBW). This likely means that's the the shelves and taps will run dry prior to the second shipment. Per SE it will be making it to Baton Rouge and beyond.

Initially I believe that 7 or 8 draft options will be available to a few bars ( usual suspects I'd imagine) with a few other bars having access to one or two tap handles. and only 4 or 5 package options. All day IPA appears to be the one they are sending the most of on the first truck.

In late April ( 20/21?) the crew from Founders will come down for a Visit. The Pub is planning an event with them and I'm sure other bars will be planning events as well.

My advice is to pay attention to your favorite watering-hole's or bottles shops social media for tapping and stocking times and details.

I'm in Georgia. (I know what seekabrew is)

What should I be on the lookout for when I'm in NOLA in 2 weeks?

Can I find Upright sours? Prairie? Pretty Things? What Saint Arnold can I find? Maine? Best NOLA beer?

Any limited/seasonals around now? Anything I'm missing?

You can find pretty much any Saint Arnold. Bishop's Barrel is tough to find, but you can find them at a good beer bar like Avenue Pub. You won't find any Maine Beer Co...I'm not quite sure why that is on Seekabrew, but the site obviously isn't perfect. I've seen some Pretty Things bottles around at Stein's as well, and the same for Prairie. Stein's is definitely the go-to bottle shop for your trip. I've never seen Upright but I may have missed it. We also just got Southern Prohibition from Mississippi which makes some solid stuff. In terms of local breweries, they all make solid stuff. Definitely try some of Parish's offerings while you're in town!

Well, it appears we will be getting St Bernardus on tap! You can thank The owner of Chimes for stepping up and making a serious commitment to buy a huge part of a pallet of kegs! So when it arrives make sure to go there and drink it!!, we will have as well of course and a few other places but the Chimes commitment made the difference!

That's great news! Tim and Mike have really stepped up their beer game as of late at the Chimes after kinda letting the craft beer explosion pass them by for a few years. Thanks for the info.

The truck picking up the Founders beers was delayed by a few days. It's possible we( the state) will get a Monday delivery and that things will proceed on schedule but more likely we won't see the drafts hit the market till Tuesday.. And possibly bottles at small places like Steins day or two after that. Usually takes a bit longer to get stock in corporate places like Rouses and Whole foods.

Had my fingers crossed for some KBS, but after a few phone calls, it seems like it will only be available on draft (and not in North LA).....damn.

KBS did not come in bottles this time around. There will be bottle and draft of the following in the market: dirty bastard, centennial IPA, porter, breakfast stout, all day IPA and curmudgeon. None of it except maybe the all day IPA is coming in large quantities... And we will get another truck in late may..

Has anyone in NW La talked to our local craft stores to see if Founders will find its way in our area in a timely manner??

Hoping for something similar to the way we got The Bruery.

We wont be getting any Founder's at all. None of the distributors picked it up. South LA only.

Distribution is so frustrating in LA. It will probably be another month or two before Lafayette gets any Founders. Still waiting for Southern Tier to come here.

You never know, The Bruery showed up reasonably quick in Lafayette. Still don't understand why there's no Southern Tier though. Or Sweetwater. Or Terrapin.

You'd have to check with those breweries to see which distributors they signed contracts with for Louisiana. Founders signed with Schilling Distributing out of Lafayette, so it should be on the shelves soon.

If anyone has seen Founders in supermarkets yet in N.O. or B.R. (or anywhere else in La.), please chime in. I'd like to get some this weekend. Even if it means making a road trip.

Shreveport Bossier has Southern Tier falling off the shelves. The Bruery is also here.

Amazing the differences in distro in this state. We have not seen a hint of sweetwater, Terrapin, Sante Fe,
or even Stone. ( save for the bootlegging @ cuban liqour).
Thank God i have Great Raft and Red River brewing up here to fill a growler or two of fresh
    beer.

Wow, no Stone yet? It's been a couple of years since Stone hit LA I would've thought those beers would be everywhere in the state by now. I forgot about Santa Fe but I haven't seen that in the area either. Has Ballast Point gotten to LA yet?

Oh and I can't wait to try Great Raft. I'm glad to have Parish right down the road for the same reason: good, always fresh beer.
