So, Savannah never put the beers into inventory and selected allocations already. It is indeed hitting Atlanta stores all this week in extremely limited quantities. Good luck.

 

By Savannah, I meant Savannah Distributing, who handles the Bell's distro in Atlanta. Sorry if we got signals crossed.

 

Probably just giving certain places allocation. I can confirm atleast 2 places in ATL that already have it in house. Also, it's bourbon panther that came.

I guess there goes the peoples "whalez" on this. It made it out of the Carolinas.

 

It's still a whale. A case or 2 per store and 1 bottle limit.

 

Yeah I don't know who said it wasn't leaving the state . Very limited obviously and no clue where it went. I just load the truck guys.

 

Also the Tuesday release is a new thing to get people in earlier in the week. Nothing rare is being put on, just special treatments of our core brand at the moment. Today was one claw with oranges and vanilla added

Ya, the places that have it are doing timed releases too. Idiots. Don't they see the annual shitshow of Hopslam, and today's KBS? There is no way to please everyone, but making a group line up for two hours just to catch a glimpse of the guys leaving with their bottle is sure to start fire with anyone.

 

BA Biscotti Break and DB Jesus arrived as well on a timed release. Good Lord, what a week. Hope I get something....

 

DB Jesus is NUTS by the way. I almost traded my one bottle away, and I'm very very happy I did not. To the degree a beer is worth waiting in line for (which I understand is debatable), DB Jesus is definitely in the front of that pack.

Has a limited amount hit distro in Ga? Just saw someone picked up a few bottles in the show your purchase thread and they are from GA?

 

Came and went. By the time the store employees and truck chasers were taken care of, there wasn't much left for the loyal locals. Que sera, sera.

 

It was pretty limited. The guy that posted the pic, probably paired up with someone and they took a picture of it all together in an attempt to impress. No single store would have sold that much to one person.

One store gave you the option of Skoon, SBMP, or DBJ. Not one of each, but ONE of the 3. Unless the guy paid out the ass for extras from someone who stood in line for a couple of hours.

 

I'm expecting the BA scoons and panther here within the next week based on the fact that one of our best beer spots has a keg of AB Panther they're tapping next Saturday (yes u read that right, the uber rare, brewery only apple brandy panther).

 

It's not brewery only. At least one shop in GA got the AB version.

 

My cousin got 2 bottles each of Skoons, DB Jesus and BB Biscotti as well as one each of AB Panther and BB Panther. He procured them from 2 different stores. Sounds crazy, I know. I got nothing. Black Note and KBS were all I could find, and I tried hard...

 

Jeez, where? I didn't see anything about that, and am curious of which place would be the one if not Hop City of Ale Yeah.

 

Don't know about Atlanta. Athens got one case of Bourbon and one of AB that I know of.

 

Ale Yeah in Decatur, Hop City and Five Points in Athens are the only ones I heard of that got any. I didn't make it to any of them in time. Spoke with a Savannah rep at Total Wine that told me none had been released in Georgia, I have a feeling they're holding some out for now. Maybe next week? I think Westbrook said there was going to be like 10-20 cases sent to GA.
