El Cajon Brewing Company, Chapter 11

Honestly, it's not hard to believe at all - it sounds like he didn't do his due diligence at any step of the process and relied on what he was told. What he should have done as soon as things went to shit was lawyer up, make sure he was fully extricated from any and all company accounts and paperwork, and worked with the City of El Cajon to throw his brother under the bus. Instead, he seemingly allowed his brother to do that to him.

I feel bad for him, he seems like a decent guy who has gotten hosed in the situation, but when you're in business - especially a failing business with massive debts - there's no room to just hope for the best.

It was more rhetoric that actual incredulity, as in I can't believe how shitty his situation is, but I see your point(s). I can't imagine the circumstances he is/was in, and hopefully he comes out on top.

I understand he's been sober for a while now...so good for him keeping with it...Irregardless I for one could careless...

 

If your lawyer tells you to stop saying bad things about people on the Internet, please ignore him/her...

Maybe he did develop a problem after I left, considering what he was doing to the waitresses, but I think its all part of his master plan. He is an uneducated man but has the mind of a sinister criminal parasite. People like him should be in an institution.
